At Weston Dean Custom Homes, our team works with homeowners from conception to completion in order to help create the home they’ve always dreamed of owning. While our design services are among the best in the business, our exceptional work does not stop there. Throughout the construction process, we will keep you up-to-date on anything and everything as it happens so you will always know exactly where everything stands.
During the first part of the construction process, our team will assist you as you work with a preferred lender to obtain a construction interim loan. We’ll be there with you as the bank lays out the ‘draw schedule’ on how they will distribute funds throughout the entire construction project.
Once you’ve closed on the construction interim loan, our team will break ground on construction. At this point in the process, we’ll meet you at the chosen lot location to oversee any last minute tree removal before we prepare your lot for foundation.
This will also be a time where you will be able to meet with our incredible team of design experts to finalize all of your chosen features and finishes that will help make your home truly yours. During the first phase of selections, you will focus on your outdoor materials and colors. The second phase of selections will include custom cabinet design, flooring, wall selections, plumbing fixtures and appliances. The final phase of selections will include electric fixtures, door hardware and every other feature within your home.
Throughout the construction process, exciting changes will be happening daily and your home will quickly become a reality right in front of your eyes. At Weston Dean Custom Homes, we’ve always placed an incredible emphasis on keeping up with client communication to ensure that any and all of your questions and concerns are addressed right away.
During this phase of the process, our team will hire third-party inspectors to ensure that nothing has been missed throughout construction. If, at this time, you’d like to hire your own third-party inspector, we just ask that you let us know when they will be on site to ensure that construction is at the appropriate stage for inspection.
Seven days before the final draw for construction or move-in date, we will meet you at the property. This is the time where we’ll look for any paint touch-ups throughout the home before you officially move in. After we’ve walked through the home, our homeowners will need to sign off on the fact that every aspect of your contract was completed.
At Weston Dean Custom Homes, we love what we do. Being able to bring our clients’ dream homes to life is the reason why we continue our work throughout the Texas Hill Country. If you’d like to learn more about the work that we do, give us a call at (210) 408-9108 or fill out our online form today.
