First meetings

Before we put our heads together and craft the floor plan design of your home, our team will meet you at your chosen lot for a first walk through where we will figure out the best overall design of the home based on the land we’ll build it on. We’ll take note of all of your initial hopes and ideas about where you want your home placed and how you envision it looking. Think about where you might like specific rooms to be positioned based on the views you would like, and we’ll offer our own suggestions on where the home could be placed based on cost, topography, flatwork distance and drainage patterns. Then, we’ll schedule the concept meeting with you where we can truly start designing your dream home. 

Starting the design process

As we start the design process of your home, we always love when our homeowners bring in as much physical imagery as possible to get a good idea of what they want before we begin drafting the floor plan. Whether you have magazine clippings, printed photographs, screenshots or a Pinterest board dedicated to your dream home, anything will help us get a clear idea of what you like. Once we’ve had enough time to brainstorm about the home design, the time has come to begin creating it. Throughout this process, our team of expert designers will work with you the entire time, modifying the floor plan as much as needed to meet your exact hopes and dreams. Once we’ve finalized the home design, you’ll be able to select the features and finishes you’d like throughout the home, and our expert designers will be on hand to offer their professional opinion on the countertops, cabinets, appliances, flooring and so much more until your home has truly come to life.
