A few weeks ago, we discussed three of our popular and revered custom design styles: The Spanish Revival, The European Style, and The Hill Country Contemporary Style. Each of these carry with them our guarantee of high quality materials, construction, and most importantly, attention to every detail you can imagine. Our goal, after all, is to provide you with the home of your dreams, and we at Weston Dean Custom Homes are excited to work with you each step of the way to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Today we'd like to continue our discussion of our
Vision Views, otherwise known as our tried-and-true architectural designs and floor plan options. These include our Traditional Style, our Texas Country Style, and last (but certainly not least!), our Custom Features.
Traditional Style
Our focus here is to emulate everything that makes a home great and livable in the modern age without losing any part of what makes a traditional home so beautiful. With today's emphasis on minimalism, slick surfaces, and high-tech visibly integrated into every single aspect of your life and creeping into today's architecture, we understand that much of the rich, original aesthetic of home living has disappeared over the years. We seek to bring that back, surrounding you with comfort and splendor in your custom home. Even better, we can preserve that while giving you every modern technological advancement you might want without it feeling or looking out of place.
Many of the features utilized in our traditional style custom home include:
-Clean lines and masses
-Metal or otherwise flat rooftops
-Full plate, extra large glass windows
-Stucco or horizontal wood siding
Texas Country Style
In a similar vein of our Hill Contemporary Country Style, this vision view is incredibly popular in our San Antonio custom home communities. Imbued with and exhibiting sophistication, this home design uses the influence of local and regional materials to achieve an unparalleled elegance. Many of these feature stonework that is more blended in nature, containing what's known as "luders and tans" rather than white limestone often chosen in previous years by other home builders. This architectural style, in our humble opinion, is a gem wholly representative of what we love most about Texas.
You are likely to find several of these design choices in a Texas Country home:
-Low pitch roofs, made of metal or composition
-Rustic feel to more contemporary
-Country wood and stone interiors
-Stone exteriors
Custom Features
If you can't decide between these (believe us, we understand!), we might suggest another option entirely: Custom Home Features. You have your own special preferences and style, and we're more than happy to accommodate you! After all, your home is yours, and should reflect what you like and hold dear. Many custom home owners start by considering options for their kitchens, bathrooms, energy efficiency, outdoor living and more. There are no limitations here!
We hope that this has been helpful! If you have any further questions about Weston Dean as a company, our custom home building process, or would simply like to get started on a brand new home, don't hesitate to
