The city is home to a number of military bases, and thousands of military families. 

Fun in San Antonio

San Antonio is also a fun city to shop in. You’d expect a city the size of San Antonio to have a great selection of major retailers and malls, and it certainly does. But San Antonio also has a trove of vintage stores and local boutiques. Shopping in San Antonio contributes to a relaxing and enjoyable way of life. There is more to San Antonio than shopping, however. Venture out to Six Flags, SeaWorld, or the San Antonio Zoo. Or catch a game at the AT&T Center, home court of the San Antonio Spurs.
