It is best to do a once-over of your home before having any guests stay with you for any period of time. Lastly, be sure to de-clutter your home before your guests arrive. Move objects or furniture that guests may need to maneuver around. It is also a good idea to secure wall cords to the baseboards to prevent tripping. Clear stair steps of objects like shoes, books or other personal items.
