Holiday Events In San Antonio

Christmas is exactly one week away and if you haven’t gotten in the holiday spirit yet, take part in some holiday events around San Antonio to help get you in the festive spirit! Weston Dean Custom Homes, one of the top San Antonio custom home builders, shares ideas to take part in this week leading up to Christmas.

First, for the outdoor enthusiast, visit the Ford Fiesta De Las Luminarias. Running through this Friday-Sunday from 7-10pm on the River Walk, experience the holiday serenity the River Walk provides this time of year!

You will be in awe of the more than 6,000 Luminarias, as the warm glowing candles in sand filled bags line the walkways to symbolically mark the “lighting of the way” for the Holy family.

This is a century’s old tradition that is perfect for those of all ages! Visit their website here for more information!

Another great event for the family going on through January 4th is Holiday In The Park! Six Flags Fiesta Texas celebrates the annual Holiday in the Park, which features thrilling rides, tasty treats and exciting family entertainment.

Come see the park while it is transformed into a winter wonderland, with thousands of colorful lights, carolers performing classic yuletide favorites and personalized meet-and-greets with Santa and his elves!

Last, come out and visit Morgan’s Wonderland to see A Wonderful Christmas. From 4-9pm through December 23rd, get your picture taken with Santa, listen to Christmas carolers in the park, stop by the petting zoo and enjoy all the rides that are open at night! This wonderful Christmas event is a perfect thing to make a part of your family’s holiday tradition for years to come. Visit their website here for more information on this great holiday event.

No matter what you choose to do this holiday season, Weston Dean Custom Homes wants to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a happy 2015!
